All participants are required to pay the participation fee for attending the SSA Congress, as was done in previous years. This includes fees for paper presenters and session organizers, but also for all semi-plenary speakers. These fees are essential, as they help support the Congress and the Swiss Sociological Association. This year, we have proposed reduced fees and less expensive fees for students.

For students who are interested: you can become a student volunteer for the Congress! More information here

Online event

Given the current sanitary situation, the 2021 edition of the SSA Congress will take place entirely online, via the Zoom platform. We are confident that we will be able to deliver a high quality and engaging event for the nearly 500 contributors from Switzerland and from more than 30 countries around the world.

Once you will have registered to participate, you will be granted access to the online forum. Closer to the event, information on the different Zoom links will be made available.
